In general, both long and short barrels can wWith the Dyson Airwrap™ hair styler, the two different sizes were designed to address various hair lengths. The long barrels works best with longer hair (i.e. hair that’s longer than chest length), while the shorter 30mm Airwrap™ barrels and 40mm Airwrap™ barrels are suitable for shorter hair. For best results, we suggest using the recommended barrel for your hair length.
Yes. The Coanda smoothing dryer is available in two modes: drying and smoothing. The drying mode is typically used pre-style (i.e. rough-dry the hair) and is suitable for all hair types. The smoothing mode, on the other hand, is typically used to hide flyaways and works best on naturally wavy, straight or straightened hair.
Yes. Our brushes work well on wet hair and the barrels on damp hair. So for best results, start with a freshly washed hair, followed by the Coanda smoothing dryer to rough-dry hair and finish with the styling barrels.
