Reference to "you" and "your" mean the user of this website, Dyson’s customer and/or purchaser of goods.
  2. The trade marks and logos displayed on this site are trade marks of Dyson's parent company in the United Kingdom, Dyson Limited (except where indicated). Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trade mark or logo displayed on this site without the written permission of Dyson.
  3. Assume that everything that you read on this website is protected by copyright unless otherwise stated. You may only use material on this website for personal, non-commercial use. You do not have permission to copy, reproduce, republish, up-load, post, communicate, transmit or distribute in any way any of the contents of this website for public or commercial purposes without the written permission of Dyson.
  4. By using this website you agree to accept the laws in force in New South Wales as governing the relationship between Dyson and yourself. You also irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales or any other court having jurisdiction in Australia as may be nominated by Dyson. This site may be accessed throughout Australia and overseas. Dyson makes no representation that the content of this site complies with the laws (including intellectual property laws) of any country outside Australia.

Remember to check the Terms and Conditions when you use the website as we may change the Terms and Conditions from time and time and you will be subject to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time that you use the website. We may change the prices and availability of goods without notice to ensure they are as up to date as possible.
  6. We try to make sure all the information on the website is accurate, but if we have made a mistake and you spot it, please let us know. Please regularly update your computer’s virus protection software as we can’t guarantee that the website will be free from viruses.
  7. We may suspend or terminate access to the website without notice.
  8. Dyson reserves the right to end promotions before the advertised closing date.

Buying from the Website

  1. You acknowledge and warrant to Dyson that:
    1. you are an Australian resident aged 18 years or over;
    2. you will be liable for all costs, fees, charges and other amounts which may become payable to Dyson as a result of your use of this website;
    3. you are not breaching any requirement of any applicable law relating to the privacy of personal information by providing the information to Dyson; and
    4. all information (including credit card details) you provide to Dyson is true and complete.
  2. Your telephone order or on-line purchase order (as applicable) is an offer to buy from Dyson. All Australian orders should include a daytime delivery address and contact details. Dyson reserves the right not to accept an order at its sole discretion.
  3. By providing your details, you consent to receiving related communications from us, including confirmation that the order has been received by Dyson. Confirmation of the order does not constitute acceptance of your order. Dyson reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason (including stock run out), regardless of whether your order has been confirmed or your credit or debit card has been charged or paypal has been cleared. If your order is declined or cancelled by Dyson after the payment for the purchase, Dyson will promptly refund your payment to the credit or debit card or method you originally used for the purchase.
  4. Payment for the goods which you order must be made either by one of the payment method options listed on the website which may change from time to time. Payment will be charged at the time of Dyson receiving your order and prior to the time that the goods are dispatched and received by you. Dyson will provide you with an invoice number as confirmation of the order. If your payment is rejected by the card issuer or payment provider your order will not be dispatched. Payment is made at your own risk.
  5. If you pre-order for the goods, order goods which are currently out of stock, or book a delivery slot in advance, Dyson and its payment partners will authorise or reserve a charge on your credit or debit card, Paypal or other payment method for any amount up to the full value of the goods at any time between the order being placed and the goods being delivered. If the authorisation has expired or for any reason has failed, Dyson reserves the right to re-authorise up to the full amount, either before or after dispatch of the goods. In which case, Dyson will notify you via the email address provided during checkout. If Dyson does not receive re-authorisation then Dyson will contact you so that you can provide Dyson with another payment method. If in the unlikely event that the price increases from when it was originally ordered, Dyson will contact you 7 days before requesting re-authorisation.
  6. The price of the goods (including for parts and accessories) (inclusive of GST), the applicable delivery costs and availability of the goods displayed on this website are subject to change without notice. The title to goods will only pass following payment in full.
  7. Delivery dates of the goods are intended to be an estimate only. Any delivery estimates stated on this website or in communications from Dyson should be read together with any additional notices about the potential for temporary delays in dispatch or delivery.
  8. Orders will only be accepted from and dispatched to street addresses in Australia.
  9. Delivery of the products may be totally or partially suspended by Dyson during any period in which Dyson may be prevented or hindered from delivery by its normal means of delivery or supply through any circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, disease outbreaks, lockouts or government restrictions, unavailability of stock, accidents or breakdowns of plant or machinery. To the extent permitted by law, Dyson will not be liable for any indirect loss or damage arising from its failure to deliver any or all of the products.
  10. Any failed delivery attempt due to incorrect details provided by you must be paid for by you. Subsequent delivery attempts may incur additional delivery charges.
  11. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dyson (including its employees, officers, agents and contractors) makes no representations about the materials contained on this website or any websites linked to this website.
  12. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dyson (including its employees, officers, agents and contractors):
    1. is not liable to you or anyone else for any loss or damage, however caused (including negligence), which may suffered be directly or indirectly, in connection with use of this website including but not limited to interference with or damage to your computer systems; and
    2. excludes liability (whether that liability arises under contract, tort (including negligence) or statute) for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limitation loss of revenue and loss of, or damage to, data) suffered or incurred in connection with this website.
  13. The Australian Consumer Law provides for statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded by law. Limitations outlined anywhere in these Terms and Conditions, will not operate to the extent they are inconsistent with those statutory guarantees.
  14. Dyson may vary these terms and conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting. By making a purchase through this site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.

  1. Use of the Dyson website (including the purchase of products and redemption of offers in these Terms and Conditions) may involve the collection of personal information. We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please take time to read this, as it includes important information which applies to you.

Dyson 45 day money back guarantee

  1. Information on this offer and how to claim forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating you accept these Terms and Conditions.
  2. To be eligible to claim the offer, you must have purchased an Eligible Dyson product (defined in clause 3) from Dyson:
    1. at www.dyson.com.au; or
    2. by phone, email or Live Chat from Dyson’s Customer Care team; or
    3. from the Dyson Demo Store - Beauty Lab located at Shop 62, Lower Ground 1, 455 George St, Sydney, NSW, 2000
  3. Eligible Dyson products are all Dyson consumer machines and Dyson Hair Care professional edition machines for salons and stylists.
  4. Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, where a presentation case has been personalised, a refund cannot be claimed under this offer.
  5. To be eligible to claim under this offer:
    1. the product must have been used under normal household conditions (or normal salon/stylist conditions for Dyson Hair Care professional edition machines) and maintained according to the instructions supplied; and
    2. the product, all accessories and any gifts or bonus products must be returned undamaged, in full working order (unless an issue is due to a manufacturing fault), in original packaging and with original proof of purchase; and
    3. you must produce such evidence as is reasonably required by Dyson to establish that the product is not subject to any hire purchase, lease, rental or other agreement, a result of which being that another party has an interest in or charge over the product.
  6. To be eligible for a refund under this offer, you must contact Dyson’s Customer Care team by phone at 1800 239 766 or email at aucustomercare@dyson.com and lodge your claim within 45 days of purchase.
  7. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims made in connection with this offer. If your claim is assessed as valid, Dyson will provide you with instructions on how to return your machine to Dyson’s Australian premises. Dyson will cover the cost of delivery of the product within Australia.
  8. Dyson has absolute discretion to determine whether these Terms and Conditions have been satisfied entitling you to a refund under this offer.
  9. The product, all accessories and any gifts or bonus products must be returned undamaged, in full working order, in original packaging and with original proof of purchase.
  10. If authorised by Dyson, allow 45 days to receive the refund from the date of authorisation.
  11. This offer is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
  12. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims and disqualify any claimant for tampering with the claim process or for submitting a claim which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  13. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Dyson excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotional offer, including any claim form that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Dyson) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Dyson.
  14. Dyson’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Best Price Policy

  1. Information on the Dyson Best Price Policy and how to claim forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in this offer, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
  2. If you find a Dyson product that is available from Dyson at www.dyson.com.au (Website) advertised at a lower price by a National Retailer (as defined in section 3), Dyson will match that advertised price subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  3. National Retailers are the following Australian retailers: Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Costco, Shaver Shop, David Jones and Myer. Dyson may, in its discretion, change the list of National Retailers by updating these terms and conditions and publishing them on the Website.
  4. Comparative product must be in stock and readily available for sale at a retail outlet or online from a National Retailer and be the identical model to a Dyson product available on the Website
  5. Comparative product must be new and in original packaging. Reconditioned, refurbished, display, demonstrator or damaged products, as well as products available for purchase at a Dyson warehouse sale are excluded.
  6. Price match not available where National Retailer’s lower price is due to member-only offers, corporate reward programs or employee discounts.
  7. You must provide satisfactory proof of current advertised price of the comparative product by a National Retailer to Dyson (eg. flyer, catalogue, website URL or email). Proof must be verifiable by Dyson and price must be stated in Australian dollars. Verbal and written offers are excluded.
  8. Where National Retailer’s lower price is due to an error in advertising (theirs or Dyson’s), this is excluded.
  9. Dyson reserves the right to limit the quantity of a product available for purchase under the Best Price Policy by a customer, at its discretion.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Dyson excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotional offer, including any claim that is lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Dyson) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Dyson.

Dyson Academy Promotion

  1. Information on how to claim, Dyson’s offers in connection with the Dyson Academy, and the promotional card received by you form part of these Terms and Conditions. By using the promotional code received by you in connection with the Dyson Academy, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions on the promotional card (including the promotional code) provided to you by Dyson.
  2. The Dyson Academy program is run by Dyson for eligible retail partners, as determined by Dyson. Dyson offers promotional codes in connection with the Dyson Academy for training purposes and to increase product awareness of participants.
  3. A promotional code issued to you in connection with the Dyson Academy program is valid during the specified time period on the promotional card, and on the terms and conditions set out in the promotional card provided to you.
  4. To be eligible to claim, participants must be employees of a retail partner participating in the Dyson Academy program, and attend a Dyson Academy event.
  5. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all purchases made through the Dyson Academy program and reject any purchase that is made in breach of Dyson’s terms and conditions (including any terms and conditions that apply to a promotional code issued under the Dyson Academy program).
  6. Each promotional code is valid for two product purchased as specified on your promotional card in two transaction, is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be taken as cash. Purchases made using a promotional code under the Dyson Academy program must be for personal use only.

By using the promotional code received by you in connection with Dyson Little Scientists offer, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions on the Dyson Little Scientists offer leaflet (including the promotional code) provided to you by Dyson.
  2. A promotional code issued to you is valid during the specified time period and on the terms and conditions set out in the Dyson Little Scientists offer leaflet provided to you.
  3. Dyson Champions Program

The Dyson Champions program invites certain third party retail staff to participate in product training on leading Dyson technology. Program participants are provided with complimentary Dyson technology as part of the training program and are asked to provide their honest review (whether positive or negative).

Dyson Influencer Program

The Dyson Influencer Program selects particular Australian & New Zealand social influencers to receive complimentary Dyson machines in exchange for creating social content (Instagram, Facebook & YouTube) and writing a review on dyson.com.au. The Dyson Influencer Program is run at the discretion of Dyson in Australia and New Zealand. Selected influencers are provided with Dyson technology and in exchange for their honest review and content (whether positive or negative), they can keep the machine.

      5. The eligible tools will vary depending upon model of eligible Dyson vacuum cleaner selected for purchase. Eligible tools will be presented within the checkout process after the chosen eligible Dyson vacuum cleaner has been added to cart. The following tools may be available depending on model chosen: Groom tool, Flexi crevice tool, Soft dusting brush, Up-top tool, Mattress tool and Reach under tool.
      6. How to participate: (a) Select an eligible Dyson vacuum cleaner during the Offer Period. Add the Dyson machine to basket. (b) Select up to 3 bonus tools from eligible tool range during checkout. You may not select the same tool multiple times. (c) Proceed to complete checkout. Terms and Conditions

    Overview and Eligibility

  1. Information on how to enter this Styled With Dyson Social Competition (the Competition) forms part of these terms and conditions (the Terms and Conditions). Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
  2. The promoter is Dyson Appliances (Aust.) Pty Limited (ABN 50 073 072 509) of Suite 2, Level 22, Tower 3, International Towers, 300 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo NSW 2000 (the Promoter).
  3. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents over the age of 18 that are not excluded by clause 4 of these terms and conditions below (Eligible Participant).
  4. The following people are not eligible to participate in the Competition: (a) directors, officers and employees of the Promoter and (b) directors, officers and employees of contractors to the Promoter, (c) Dyson influencers who have been commissioned to share details of this competition.
  5. Term of Competition

  6. The competition commences at 08.00am 29.05.2020 and ends 11.59pm AEST on 31.07.2020 (“Competition Period”).
  7. How to Enter

  8. An Eligible Participant may enter the competition by:
    Step 1: Download the Instagram application for iPhone or Android
    Step 2: Take a photo or video that shows the hairstyle you created that you never thought you could, until using your Dyson hair care tool.
    Step 3: Upload the photo to Instagram with the tags @dysonhair and #styledwithdyson
    (Instagram privacy settings must be set to ‘public’ for us to retrieve your content)
  9. Only entries submitted via the Instagram application, during the Competition Period and which meet the requirements set out above will be accepted. Photographs submitted must be original works.
  10. Multiple applications are permitted per person.
  11. Selection of Winner

  12. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the selection of the winner. Submissions will be judged by Dyson according to the following criteria:
    • The relevance of the submitted content to the theme in question, as decided by Dyson
    • Artistic interpretation of the theme, as decided by Dyson
    • Originality of the submission, as decided by Dyson
  13. Dyson reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of applications and participants (including a participant’s identity, residential address and age) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who Dyson has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the application process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible applications will be deemed invalid (errors and omissions may be accepted at Dyson’s discretion). Failure by Dyson to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Dyson’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  14. Content produced for Competition Entry

  15. Participants agree that they are fully responsible for any materials they submit via the competition including but not limited to comments, video recordings and images (“Content”). Dyson shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law and participants agree to indemnify Dyson for any breach of the below clause 13. Dyson may remove or decline to publish any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever.
  16. As a condition of participating in the Competition, each participant licenses and grants Dyson, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their Content for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
  17. Participants warrant and agree that:
    a) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that Dyson may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
    b) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
    c) they will obtain prior consent from any person or from the owner(s) of any property that appears in their Content;
    d) the Content is the original work of the participant that does not infringe the rights of any third party;
    e) they consent to any use of the Content which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights; and
    f) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems.
  18. The Prize

  19. Six (6) winners will each receive one (1) Dyson beauty prize pack, up to the value of $1,665.00 AUD.
    a)This Dyson beauty prize pack includes: 2 x Dyson hair care tools (winners must choose 2 of these 3 hair tools: the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer, the Dyson Airwrap™ styler, and the Dyson Corrale™ straightener) plus a Dyson brush kit (including both the Dyson Detangling Comb and Dyson Paddle Brush).
  20. These six (6) prizes will be awarded to winners in two (2) phases.
    a) Three (3) winners will be chosen from entries submitted during phase 1 (29 05 20 to 30 06 20)
    b) Three (3) winners will be chosen from entries submitted during phase 2 (01 07 20 to 31 07 20)
  21. Prize Specific Conditions:
    a) The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied or redeemed as cash. The Prize value is GST inclusive and is in Australian dollars.
    b) If due to circumstances outside of Dyson’s control (including government regulations or public health concerns), Dyson is unable to provide the stated Prize, Dyson reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value.
    c) The Prize cannot be transferred.
  22. Prize Winner Notification

  23. The Winners of Phase 1 will be notified by Dyson Customer Care by phone and/or social media and/or email by 5.00 PM (AEDT) on Friday 10th July 2020.
  24. The Winners of Phase 2 will be notified by Dyson Customer Care by phone and/or social media and/or email by 5.00 PM (AEDT) on Friday 7th Aug 2020.
  25. Each Winner must respond to Dyson Customer Care within 30 days of being contacted by Dyson Customer Care, to confirm acceptance of the Prize.
    a) Where this condition is not met, winners will forfeit their prize and Dyson reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
  26. Each Winner must provide Dyson Customer Care with their preferred shipping details to redeem the prize, within 30 days of being contacted by Dyson Customer Care
    a) Where this condition is not met, winners will forfeit their prize and Dyson reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
  27. General

  28. If this program is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Dyson, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, government regulation or public health concerns, Dyson reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the program, as appropriate.
  29. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Dyson (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
  30. Dyson collects personal information (“PI”) from both participants and winners in order to conduct the Competition and will collect, use, share, transfer and otherwise handle this PI in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
