Inside our machines

  • No hot plates. No heat damage.1

Our latest hair care technology uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair as it dries. Air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style – with no need for extreme heat.1

  • Dyson Corrale™, flexing copper plates

By gathering hair, flexing plates enable shiny, straight results with less heat, less frizz and fewer flyaways.2

Frequently asked questions

The Corrale’s™ integrated sensor system controls plate temperature at 100 times a second so there’s no risk of overheating the hair. When using the Aistrait™, glass bead thermometers measure temperature airflow up to 16 times per second and feed this data back to your device to regulate heat control.

The Dyson Corrale™ performs as the best hair styler for creating bouncy, voluminous curls. Hold horizontally and press with your chosen section in the centre of the flexing plates. Rotate 360° in your preferred direction and glide slowly through the hair. Once the hair has cooled after using your hair straightener, brush or shake curls to loosen.

All hair types are compatible with either the Corrale™ and Airstrait™, though the Airstait™ is used exclusively for wet-to-dry or dry touch-up straightening. Read more about Dyson Airstrait™ straightener.

All Dyson hair straighteners have a safety feature that shuts off devices automatically after at least five minutes of inactivity. Simply press the power button to turn back on.
